Three Visiting Assistant Professor positions at Ohio State University

The Department of Statistics at The Ohio State University has three Visiting Assistant Professor positions available. We hope to fill these positions by August 1, 2012.  The appointments are for one year, with the option for a second year by mutual agreement.  Teaching duties are instruction of four semester courses in each academic year.  Successful candidates are also expected to engage in research.  Review of applications begins April 13, 2012 and will continue until the positions are filled.  Applications should include (1) a cover letter, including indications of interest and experience in teaching, and (2) Vita.  Applicants are to arrange for submission of three letters of recommendation; applicants are encouraged to request that reviewers comment on their teaching ability.  Applications are only accepted via e-mail at the address visitorsearch2012@stat.osu.edu
