Master's Biostatistician. Georgetown University Medical Center

Duties & Responsibilities: The Cancer Prevention and Control Program in the Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center is seeking a Master’s biostatistician. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in biostatistical methods, proficient with statistical programming packages, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Under general direction of a faculty biostatistician, this individual will design, conduct, analyze and interpret data from cancer research projects with a focus on large population studies and observational data. The individual will also prepare reports and collaborate on scientific papers and grant proposals. The successful candidate will become a member of Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomathematics at Georgetown University Medical Center and the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource which is housed in the Department. 

Position Qualifications: The candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or related fields, be proficient in SAS and R, be familiar with data management, and have at least 2 years-experience with biostatistical aspects of medical research projects and experience with observational data methods.
