Statistical Analyst or Senior Statistical Analyst. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Biostatistics in the Division of Quantitative Sciences at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has two open positions for Statistical Analysts to work in computational statistics and statistical modeling with applications in biostatistics and bioinformatics. The primary function will be performing statistical analyses of novel high throughput data. 

Position Qualifications: We seek a highly motivated individual with a M.S. in statistics/biostatistics/computer science or a related quantitative field. Candidates must have strong methodology training in statistics/biostatistics and strong programming skills, in particular R/S-PLUS or Matlab. Experience and skills with large data sets, particularly in high dimensional genomics, proteomics, and imaging are desirable.
