Duties & Responsibilities: Fox Chase Cancer Center, rated nationally among the best places to work, has exciting career opportunities for biostatisticians to join a growing biostatistics and bioinformatics group. Biostatisticians collaborate in all aspects of research (e.g., design, analysis, interpretation of results). Diverse clinical and biological studies at FCCC create a steady flow of challenging statistical problems. Research areas include clinical trials, genetics, molecular biology, epidemiology, and cancer prevention/control. The position encourages scholarly investigation into innovative methods and experimental designs and supports both collaborative and methodological publications.

Position Qualifications: Successful candidates must be self-directed and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics or related quantitative discipline and be familiar with standard statistical packages (e.g., SAS, R).
