Assistant Professor of Statistics. University of Alaska Fairbanks

Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include teaching, research and service. The position involves teaching two statistics courses per semester at the graduate and/or undergraduate level. A record of effective teaching and publication in refereed journals are expectations for tenure. Summer teaching assignments and funded collaborative work with research institutes are commonly available.
Position Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a PhD in statistics or a closely related field, with evidence of recent research and teaching experience strongly preferred.

UAF offers an MS degree in Statistics and a Graduate Certificate in Statistics.
