The Department of Economic Mathematics, Finance and Actuarial Sciences of the Universitat de Barcelona (http://www.ub.edu/mecfi ) invites applications at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2012.
The Department of Economic Mathematics, Finance and Actuarial has a consolidated research group in Game Theory, Optimization and Operations Research. Please visit the web for more information about the research group.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to research and should have completed a doctorate by May 2012, and not earlier than May 2007. Applicants for this position must have a specialization in either of the following fields: Game Theory, Economic Dynamics and Operations Research. The primary criteria for this position are an excellent research record and teaching potential in Mathematical Economics.
Interested candidates should send a motivation letter, a detailed CV (together with reference letters) and a paper showing their research specialization.
