The Institute of Medical Biometry and Informatics, University of
Heidelberg invites applications for a funded PhD in Statistical
Genetics. The position is initially limited to three years, with a
possible extension.
You have a university degree at master
level and optimally some working experience in the field of
biostatistics. We expect interest in medical research, strong
cooperation skills as well as an interdisciplinar orientation. Previous
experience in the analysis of genetic data, with robust statistical
methods and/or statistical consulting are an advantage.
The
focus of this position is the development and practical application of
statistical methods for the analysis of genetic data, including genetic
association and expression studies.
