Puesto:  Técnico de análisis y control
Misión:  Establecer la sistemática para asegurar el control micro del gasto médico, focalizando el esfuerzo en el control y el replanteamiento del gasto y en el control y la gestión mejorada de los baremos.
Funciones:

• Control y seguimiento detallado del Gasto: Establecer ratios que permitan el análisis del gasto, definir un sistema de control que permita plantear modelos diferentes en la presupuestación del gasto y forma de pago vinculados a nuevos conceptos.
• Analizar el gasto por especialidades, establecer planes de acción para el control de desviaciones, coordinar la definición del plan y la involucración de todas las áreas necesarias.
• Informar a las direcciones necesarias de las desviaciones frente presupuesto, hacer seguimiento de las acciones para reconducir las desviaciones y ofrecer soporte para la realización de planes de acción.
• Establecer un plan estructurado de ordenación de baremos y elaborar presupuesto. Implementar un simulador de baremos y crear entornos de prueba, en los que se puedan probar diferentes opciones y modelos.
• Coordinar y gestionar medidas de ahorro proponiendo ideas.

Requisitos:

• Titulado en Estadística.
• Experiencia de al menos 5 años en puestos de áreas control de gestión y/o análisis.
• Microsoft Office, fundamentalmente excel avanzado (dominio de tablas dinámicas)
• Muy valorable conocimiento y manejo de SAS, Cognos u otras herramientas de BI.
• Proactividad e iniciativa.

Two Research Fellowships in Statistics (Fixed 3 Year Term)

In the UK, air pollution is estimated to reduce average life expectancy by around 6 months, with corresponding equivalent health cost of £19 billion annually. Estimation of the effects of air pollution on human health is a complex task
for a number of reasons: misalignment of health and air pollution data in both space and time; the existence of spatio-temporal correlation; and the presence of confounding factors. The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council is funding a large interdisciplinary project to develop statistical methodology to address these issues.

The main goal of the project is to combine spatio-temporal models for pollution and health data into a single large hierarchical Bayesian model. Two Research Fellow (RF) positions in Statistics are available as part of this exciting collaborative project, which will involve air quality modellers, climate scientists, epidemiologists and statisticians at the Universities of Southampton and Glasgow, and at the Met Office.

Postdoctoral position in Bayesian dynamical modeling

we (Stephan Munch, Alec MacCall and Marc Mangel) are seeking a candidate to fill a  postdoctoral position in the Center for Stock Assessment Research, Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at UC Santa Cruz in conjunction with NOAA Fisheries' Santa Cruz Laboratory. This position is part of a NOAA-funded project to improve assessment methods.

The successful candidate will work with us to develop semi-parametric Bayesian tools for nonlinear time-series modeling and non-parametric approaches to optimal harvest policies that implicitly account for multi-species dynamics.

The ideal candidate should have experience with hierarchical Bayesian data analysis, Gaussian process regression, and nonlinear time-series modeling, and have the ability to work effectively with both applied mathematicians and ecologists or fisheries scientists. Vacancy research professor mathematical statistics at Hasselt University (Belgium)

The Faculty of Sciences of Hasselt University seeks a (m/f) lecturer (tenure track) / associate professor mathematical statistics.

A research professorship is a permanent position; in the first 5 - 10 years research is the main objective (which means that the teaching is limited in that period). After that initial period the position automatically becomes a regular
professorship.


The candidate will strengthen and extend the current research capacity of the Center for Statistics in the field of mathematical statistics. He/she will be part of the team that is responsible for the research in mathematical statistics. Multidisciplinary collaboration and cross-fertilization initiatives with the biostatistics and bioinformatics research in CenStat and in I-BioStat (the Interuniversity Institute of Biostatistics and statistical Bioinformatics (with Hasselt University
and the Catholic University
of Leuven as partners) are expected. Also scientific collaboration at the international level is expected.

·         The candidate has good research potential in mathematical statistics. The research experience is at the level of assistant professor/associate professor. The candidate has a clear vision on and/or experience with
international collaboration.
