Biostatistician, Georgetown University Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomathematics

Duties & Responsibilities: Georgetown University invites applications for a well-qualified Biostatistician for the Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomathematics. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in biostatistical methodology, proficient with statistical programming packages, and possess good oral and written communication skills. Under general direction of a faculty biostatistician, this individual will provide biostatistical consultation and collaboration on the design, conduct, analysis and interpretation of research projects with a cancer focus. The individual will prepare monthly monitoring reports for the institution’s cancer clinical trials, as well as reports and analyses of research projects both for scientific papers and grant proposals related to clinical trials. The candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or related fields, be proficient in SAS and R, have at least 2 years-experience with biostatistical aspects of medical research projects, and some experience in a consulting environment.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
