Postdoctoral Research Scholar

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Statistics at North Carolina State University invites applications for two Postdoctoral Research Scholars in Statistical Image Analysis and/or High Dimensional Inference. This research scholar position provides full funding without any teaching requirements at a competitive salary for up to 2 years beginning August 2013.

Position Qualifications: A PhD in statistics, electrical engineering, computer science or related field is required. Criteria for selection include demonstrated research ability in statistical image analysis and/or high dimensional inference, and an interest in medical imaging, astronomy, networks or environmental research. Verbal and written communication skills are also important. Women and members of under-represented minority groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
