Postdoctoral Fellow. New York University School of Medicine

Duties & Responsibilities: The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in methodology developments in survival analysis and high-dimensional data analysis, with the application focus on building and evaluating cancer risk prediction models. The Fellow will have opportunities in participating large collaborative epidemiology projects.

The Department of Population Health of NYU School of Medicine was newly founded in 2012, and consists of core areas of healthful behavior change, comparative effectiveness and decision science, behavioral economics and health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics and medical ethics.

Position Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics or other quantitative area. Strong theoretical and computational skills (being proficient in R and/or C) are required. A successful candidate should have strong motivation and dependability.

Salary Range: competitive salary.
