Position Title: Biostatistician

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Statistics at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a tenured Associate Professor or Professor of Statistics to start August 2011 pending final approval from the dean. The appointment will be in the Department of Statistics. The successful candidate will establish strong working relationships, with a time commitment of approximately two days per week, with the College of Medicine on the UCF Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona. Duties will involve teaching, research, and statistical consulting (internal).

Position Qualifications: Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics or a strongly related degree from a regionally accredited university and demonstrated excellence in teaching and research. Preference will be given to candidates with an established research record in biostatistics and a record of external funding.

Salary Range: Negotiable
