Statistical Scientist (Senior Principal) - Switzerland

An interesting and specialised new role has become available in Switzerland with a top pharmaceutical company. They are currently expanding on their Statistics division in all areas at the moment and would like a highly experienced and technically driven statistics professional for an office based role in Basel. You will be joining a company working towards achieving the highest recognition as industry leaders.

As a Statistical Scientist (Senior Principal) you will be the global lead for the statistical strategy within clinical development. You will be accountable for the application of innovative trial designs, optimizing drug development programs, addressing statistical issues and influencing decisions.
Job responsibilities:

*Providing strategic and scientific leadership to clinical development programs
*Working closely with project teams, motivate strategies for quantitative framework
*Applying high quality methodologies across several therapeutic areas
*Contributing and representing at regulatory meetings
*Pushing the full integration of drug development, creative project plan solutions and ensuring the statistics/data team are aligned
*Providing biostatistics expertise to process development
*Serving as a mentor and coach to statistical members of the group
*Participating in regulatory approvals
*Ensuring the quality and timely application of strategies for clinical development, trials and analysis
