Position Title: Professor & Chair

Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include conducting research, teaching graduate courses, advising and mentoring graduate students, and providing service to the community and the field of public health. An additional administrative role such as Chair of the Department of Biostatistics or Associate Dean for Research is possible if the successful candidate is interested and qualified.

Position Qualifications: Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in biostatistics or other related field, and have at least seven to ten years of experience in a previous faculty position. Preference may be given to candidates with research interests in health disparities, social epidemiology, environmental epidemiology, and/or community-based participatory research; however all research interests related to biostatistics will be considered. In all cases, a strong background in epidemiology methodology is desirable. The successful candidate must have externally funded research and strong prospects for sustaining such activity.

Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary is very competitive.
