The Division of Mathematical and Natural Sciences in the New College of
Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University's West
campus invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in
Statistics.




Duties involve teaching, engaging in scholarly activity, and providing
service to the university and the profession. Required Qualifications: Ph.D.


in a relevant discipline by August 2012; ability to contribute to our newly
developed program in statistics; ability to contribute to the Division in
the areas of teaching, research, and service. Desired Qualifications:
Interest in establishing interdisciplinary research programs with other
faculty in the Division; experience mentoring undergraduates in research;
experience developing new courses. Candidates that can enhance and
complement ASU's strengths in the broad areas of sustainability, education,
