Position Qualifications:
Required qualifications include: a PhD or ScD in biostatistics or
statistics or closely related field; demonstrated expertise in public
health as reflected by training, research, teaching and/or service
aligned with the vision and mission of the College; a demonstrable
commitment to high teaching standards at the undergraduate and graduate
levels; and a desire to work collaboratively with colleagues in the
School, the College, and the University. The successful candidate will
demonstrate potential to: develop strong independent and collaborative
programs of research; secure external funding; deliver high-quality
teaching; and provide service to the School, College, University, and
profession. Relevant post-doctoral experience, evidence of effective
communication, and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing
diversity are preferred.

Company Information:
We are establishing the first CEPH accredited College of Public Health
and Human Sciences for the state of Oregon. The College is located
within OSU’s Health Sciences Division along with the Colleges of
Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine. Our College has 2 Schools (Biological
& Population Health Sciences and Social & Behavioral Health
Sciences) comprising 9 academic programs (Biostatistics; Environmental
and Occupational Health & Safety; Epidemiology; Exercise & Sport
Science; Health Management & Policy; Health Promotion & Health
Behavior; Human Development & Family Sciences; International Health;
and Nutrition) and 3 collaborative Research Centers (the Hallie E. Ford
Center for Healthy Children and Families; the Center for Healthy Aging
Research; and the Moore Family Center for Whole Grain Foods, Nutrition
and Preventive Health). OSU is the only institution in Oregon that
