Research Statistician, Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University

Duties & Responsibilities: Research Statistician consults and collaborates in medical research and multi-disciplinary team environment; coordinates, conducts and interprets analyses of biomedical research projects in the Division of Hematology using descriptive statistics, basic inferential tests and advanced statistical procedures; writes programs using statistical software which may include developing special statistical programs for which no packaged software exists; assists in preparation of journal articles, technical reports and grant submissions.
Position Qualifications: A Master's degree in biostatistics/statistics or related field required; proficiency with statistical software (especially SAS and/or R) required; experience working with large datasets required; excellent written/oral communication skills required; experience with medical research preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physicial, including a drug screen.

Salary Range: 60,000 - 70,000
