Research Associate / Statistician in Lion (France)

THE POSITION: We wish to appoint a researcher to join our team in Lyon. This
is a great opportunity if you have a genuine interest in enhancing your
knowledge and skills in health economics and outcomes research. We will
provide you with all the necessary training and support for your
professional development in this challenging and rapid-moving field. In
return we expect you to quickly build on your existing knowledge and skills,
acquiring the ability to work autonomously.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Your role will be exciting and varied, working on
international projects as a member of a project team. You will be involved
in a range of tasks, including:
· Designing, programming, and interpretation of statistical analyses and
meta-analyses
· Preparing documents or sections of documents presenting statistical
findings
· Performing allocated project tasks within agreed timeframe and to
appropriate quality, using optimum methodology
· Working cooperatively with and supporting colleagues; actively sharing
knowledge with peers
· Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of techniques used in projects,
and awareness of how they meet client’s objectives

REQUIREMENTS: You are a highly motivated researcher, with experience in
health economics, epidemiology, health services research, biostatistics or a
related quantitative subject who enjoys teamwork and takes pride in the
quality of your work. You will have a relevant postgraduate qualification
(MSc/PhD) or equivalent experience. Excellent analytical and clinical
writing skills as well as good communication skills are essential. You must
be fluent in written and spokenEnglish, fluency in French would be an
advantage.
