Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Statistics at the University of Virginia invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position to begin August 25, 2013. This position has an initial three-year term, with the possibility of renewal contingent on satisfactory performance. Duties include teaching four or five courses per year (a combination of undergraduate and graduate courses) and departmental service including contributing to the management of the department's MS program

Position Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a PhD in Statistics or a related field by appointment start date. Preference will be given to candidates who have documented experience teaching statistics at the undergraduate and graduate level, and professional experience in a nonacademic setting
