An enthusiastic graduate with quantitative research skills and experience is sought to provide support to a range of public health research studies within the Institute of Health and Society. The work will include secondary analysis of existing datasets, systematic reviews of research literature, presentation of results and writing for publication. Pilot and development work for new studies may also be required.

A PhD or other post graduate qualification in public health, a social science, epidemiology or biostatistics would be an advantage. You will have experience of quantitative analysis in public health or health service research and experience of contributing to the writing of scientific papers.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for career development and you will be supported to develop applications for further personal or project funding, and if appropriate to develop work for a higher research degree.

You will be encouraged to become an associate member of Fuse, the UKCRC Centre for Translational Research in Public Health (www.fuse.ac.uk).

Tenable for a period of two years in the first instance. Part time work or job sharing will be considered.

The appointment will be made at the appropriate level according to qualifications and experience.
