Solicitante: Kernel Analytics

Requisitos:

•  Degree in mathematics, physics , economics, or engineering
• Knowledge of data mining, statistics, and / or econometrics
•   Programming skills and advanced knowledge of at least one programming language
•  Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL)
•  Ability to think analytically, quantitatively, and creatively
•   Ability to work as part of a team
•   A strong interest in finding practical solutions to complex business problems
•  Good communication skills
•   Advanced level of English

Se valorara:

·         Masters degree in data science, econometrics, quantitative economics, artificial intelligence, modeling or similar specialization

·         Experience in statistical modeling and / or machine learning (regression, time series classification, and clustering algorithms... )

• Familiarity with specific SQL database systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Notions of No-SQL solutions (MongoDB , Cassandra , HBase )
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop , MapReduce , Hive , etc.)
• Graphical interface design for data visualization
• Other languages ( French, German )

Funciones:

Kernel Analytics is looking to hire a junior analyst to participate in data analysis projects and the development of predictive systems. The selected candidate will work on modeling and optimization algorithms in areas as diverse as demand forecasting, personalized recommendation, and customer churn prevention.

The offered position is a full-time job based in the Barcelona office.
