Postdoctoral Researcher ERC Consolidator Grant HAPDEGMT

Job Description: 

One postdoctoral appointment is offered for a researcher in Mathematics with an excellent curriculum vitae having completed a PhD within the last 5 years (or completing his/her PhD by June, 2014). The candidate is expected to work on subjects related to the ERC Consolidator Grant “Harmonic Analysis, Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Measure Theory” held by José María Martell. There are no teaching duties.

The appointment will be for 2 years, starting during the second semester of 2014 (the starting date will be agreed with the candidate). The place of work will be the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (Institute of Mathematical Sciences) ICMAT in Madrid (Spain).

The contract will be for a gross amount of 39.000€ - 44.000€ / year.

The candidates should be strongly motivated and have a solid background in Harmonic Analysis, PDE or Geometric Measure Theory.
