Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a
continuing position at the level of Lecturer (comparable to Assistant
Professor in the US system) in the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
In this position, you will contribute to the vibrancy of the school's
research culture and will be expected to undertake a range of teaching
responsibilities, principally in statistics, from beginning
undergraduate to supervising research students. Applicants with research
interests in any area of statistics can apply and we particularly
welcome those with an interest in econometrics or computational
statistics.
You should have a Ph.D. in Statistics (or be near completion), or have an equivalent qualification.
