Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include teaching, research and service. The position involves
teaching two statistics courses per semester at the graduate and/or
undergraduate level. A record of effective teaching and publication in
refereed journals are expectations for tenure. Summer teaching
assignments and funded collaborative work with research institutes are
commonly available.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a PhD in statistics or a closely related
field, with evidence of recent research and teaching experience strongly
preferred.

institution in the University of Alaska system. The Department currently
has four Statistics faculty positions. UAF offers an MS degree in
Statistics and a Graduate Certificate in Statistics. The successful
