Assistant Professor. University of Arkansas, Agricultural Statistics Laboratory

Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include statistical and collaborative research, statistical consulting with faculty, staff and students from the Division of Agriculture and the College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, and professional service.

 Company Information: The Agricultural Statistics Laboratory is a budgetary unit within the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station. The Laboratory and the Agricultural Experiment Station offices are housed on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. The Agricultural Experiment Station and the Agricultural Extension Service form the Division of Agriculture, which is a campus level entity within the University of Arkansas System.

Position Qualifications: The position is for a twelve month, non-tenure track Assistant Professor. A Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics is required. An individual with an M.S. in Statistics and additional post-M.S. Statistics coursework from a Statistics Department whose Ph.D. is in a closely related discipline may be considered. Current students must have completed their degree by August 1, 2014. An interest in applied Statistics along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and computing skills are required.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
