ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (TENURE TRACK) in Northwestern University

Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Preventive Medicine is seeking an outstanding scientist for a full-time appointment at Assistant Professor (tenure track) level to join Northwestern University Department of Preventive Medicine. This position would focus on applying mobile intervention tools to intervene with underserved youth. The successful candidate will have expertise that integrates behavioral science, computer science, and clinical expertise using empirically supported behavioral treatments. The clinical research focus would be on diverse adolescents, and might include treatment or prevention of mental illness and/or chronic illness, particularly comorbid conditions, as well as health disparities in vulnerable subpopulations of youth, access to services, or other relevant areas. The technological area would be in the application of patient-facing technologies, particularly mHealth. Candidates will have an established record of high productivity, funding and independent research. MD or PhD is required.
