Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role you will be expected to perform a subset of the following
duties: Develop Bayesian models for complex clinical data and
construct adaptive designs for innovative clinical trials. Work with
large-scale genomics data (such as next-generation sequencing data)
using informatics tools. Collaborate with world-class biomedical
scientists at The University of Chicago on various projects in clinical
and biological research.

fellow to support the biostatistics and bioinformatics research at the
Center for Clinical and Research Informatics, NorthShore University
HealthSystem. The postdoc fellow will be supervised by Dr. Yuan Ji and
will participate with academic and clinical investigators as part of a
biostatistician and data management team responsible for 1) the design,
implementation, and analysis of multiple clinical trials and/or 2) the
development and implementation of Bayesian hierarchical models for
large-scale high-throughput genomics data. This position is located
in Evanston, IL with easy access to the CTA and METRA
Position Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will have: PhD in biostatistics, statistics,
computational biology, computer science, engineer or related field, as
well as passion and experiences on cutting-edge biomedical research.
Outstanding computational skills; experiences in using C++, R, Perl,
Python, and database languages are preferred. Experience in developing
statistical and computational methodologies/predictive models using
large clinical and genomics data sets. Excellent communication skills.
