Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and teach a two semester sequence in undergraduate Business Analytics courses that is required for all College of Business majors. The candidate will be expected to bring innovation, technology, and leadership to these newly developed courses within the College of Business. Teaching other courses in Analytics at the undergraduate and/or MBA level may be required. Salary is commensurate with experience. Teaching load will be three courses per semester, which includes course development and course management activities.

Position Qualifications: Job Qualifications: Because this is a teaching intensive position, candidates should have a track record of excellence in teaching. Credentials and experience appropriate to academically qualifiedstatus (e.g., Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Statistics, Management Science, Decision Sciences, Information Technology, or a related area) or professionally qualified status (e.g., related graduate degree, and relevant practical experience at a senior level) are a requirement. Experience with educational technologies, instructional design methodologies, and creating interdisciplinary courses is strongly desired

The position can be filled as a lecturer/senior lecturer depending on the background and experience of the candidate. This new nine-month position is designed to support a growing presence in Business Analytics education in Auburn's College of Business.
